Franklin "Frank" Eidson

Franklin "Frank"  Eidson passed away peacefully Sunday, February 25, 2018, after bravely battling an illness.  He was born in Holcomb, Mississippi, on September 21, 1932 to Carl and Bessie Eidson and had eleven siblings.  He graduated from Holcomb High School and attended Mississippi State University.  Mr. Eidson was a veteran of the United States Navy and served on the U.S.S. Hancock.  He was a firefighter for the Memphis Fire Department for 31 years and retired as a Captain.  He then took on the role of Safety and Security Coordinator for Trezevant Manor, an upscale retirement community, for 25 years.  Mr. Eidson was a lifelong member of Schoolfield United Methodist Church and a current member of Ellendale United Methodist Church.  Mr. Eidson is survived by his loving wife of over 57 years, Flora Pairmore Eidson, a son, R. Keith Eidson (Kathy), two grandchildren, Emma and Parker Eidson, his sister, June Byford, nephews, Larry Prather and Carl Duncan, a niece, Barbara Ann Dean, and many other family members and friends.  Frank Eidson was a highly respected man loved by all who knew him.  The visitation will be Tuesday, February 27 from 9:00 am until the service time at 10:00 am at the Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Ellendale United Methodist Church.

Ella Beatrice Evans

Ella Beatrice Evans, 93, of Millington, TN, passed away on February 16, 2018. She was born November 14, 1924 to Earley and Biddie Jenkins in Sallis, MS. She was married to Fred Evans for 52 years. Ms. Bea, as she was lovingly known, worked for The Internal Revenue Service and served as a caretaker for her beloved husband for 20 years. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending time on the family farm in Ashland, MS. Ms. Bea was preceded in death by her husband, Fred and her daughter, Sheryl. She is survived by her daughter, Dale deMarigny of Munford, TN; three grandchildren, Tammy Wolff (Dave) of Mt. Prospect, IL, Robbie deMarigny (Kim) of Park Ridge, IL, Amy Smith (Jeff) of Munford, TN and seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 12-1 p.m., Friday, February 23, with funeral service to follow at 1 p.m., at Munford Funeral Home, Millington Chapel. Interment in Memphis Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church.

Kevin McFaul

Kevin McFaul, passed away February 13, 2018. He enjoyed traveling and served in the US Army Reserve. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Jean McFaul and a brother, Bruce McFaul. He is survived by his wife, Janet McFaul; daughter, Michelle L. McFaul of Burlison, TN; son, Robert K. (Shana) McFaul of Millington, TN; sisters, Dawn (Steve) Karawich, Blair , Carol Anne ; brother, Robin McFaul of Arapaho, CA; grandchildren, London McFaul and Skyler Hugh Overstreet. Scott David Douglas

Scott David Douglas, 46, of Memphis, TN passed away at his home February 15, 2018. He was an electrician. He is survived by his parents, Brenda Brady and James David Douglas; sister, Jere` Sawyer of Millington, TN; brothers, Doug Smith of Dewer, Co and Spencer Douglas of Millington, TN.  Visitation will be Tuesday, February 20 from 12:00 – 2:00 pm at the Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel. Interment in Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.

Katelyn Bree Cichon

Katelyn Bree Cichon, 8, passed away February 15, 2018. She was Little Miss Tipton Sweetheart 2013 for the American Heart Association. She is survived by her mother, Kristen Nicole Cichon; grandparents, Robert and Karen Cichon; uncle, Christopher A. Cichon; and many close friends that were just like family. The family will receive friends at a catered reception from 3:00pm until the service at 5:00pm at the Millington Chapel on Monday (Feb 19). Donations may be made to United Cerebral Palsy or Monroe Carell, Jr. Childrens Hospital at Vanderbilt.
