Phillip Dale Smith, 63, of Memphis, TN passed away January 11, 2018. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Harden; son, John W. (Michelle) Smith; sisters, Mary Carr and Sharon Samson; grandchildren, Garrett Lee Whitehead, Christopher Blake Whitehead, Westly Ray Harden, Shiane Elaine Smith, Samantha Dawn Mims, Gabrielle Elizabeth Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Shelton and Odelle Smith; sister, Shelby Faulkner; brothers, David Lee Smith and Roger Shelton Smith. The family will receive friends Saturday (Jan 20) at the Millington Chapel from 1pm until the memorial service at 2:00pm.

Terry Wayne Bagley, 53, of Millington, TN passed away January 2, 2018. He is survived by his mother, Donna Sue Bagley; sisters, Debbie Childress, Shirley Plourde and Gail Middleton; brothers, Larry Bagley and Bill Bagley; two nieces and two nephews. James Edward “Paw Paw, Pops” Simmons

James Edward “Paw Paw, Pops” Simmons, 91, of Atoka TN, passed home to our Lord on January 11, 2018 after a short illness. Preceded in death by his parents, Lenuel Thomas and Lillie Henry Simmons; wives, Lillie Marie Simmons and Eloise Laughlin Simmons; grandson, Micah Caleb Simmons. James is survived by sons, Tom Simmons, Jim (Jeri) Simmons, Don (Kathy) Laughlin; daughter, Tina (Larry) Simmons; eight grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter and a host of beloved extended family and friends. He was a World War II Army Veteran, 94th Infantry Division, 302nd Regiment, 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason and member of Oakville Lodge, Al Chymia Shrine Temple, (Memphis) where Mr Simmons was Past President of the Clown Unit and a member of the Zaman Grotto. Arrangements are pending for the celebration of life service to be held at Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children at 2900 Rock Point Dr, Tampa FL 33607( or any Children’s Charity of choice) or the the Disabled American Veterans at dav.org

John Patrick Harmon (Rick)

John Patrick Harmon (Rick), and Ashley Ursery, left this world in a fatal auto accident January 6, 2018. They leave many loved ones. Rick leaves his mother, Laurie Harmon (Terry Singleton); his father, John Phillip (Vickie) Harmon; sister, Jessica (Christopher) Schweitzer; brother, Scott (Candace) Johnson; grandmother, Mary Ann Johnson. Preceded in death by grandfathers, Billy Johnson and Crawford Elbert Harmon; grandmother, Mildred Louise Cianciolo. Ashley leaves her mother and father, Mark and Audry Ursery. May the gates of heaven open widely when these two beautiful souls enter, for they were loved by many. Rick’s visitation will be held Wednesday (Jan 10) from 5pm until 8pm at Embury United Methodist Church, 2060 Locke Cuba Rd, Millington, TN with a service celebrating his life Thursday at 11:00am at the church. Interment to follow in Embury Cemetery.

Jerry Paul Salmon, 73, sheet metal worker/real estate broker/ entrepreneur passed away January 7, 2018. He was a member of First Assembly of God (Memphis), enjoyed music, and was a patriot to the core who bled red, white and blue. He is survived by his wife, Martha Louise Salmon; daughter, Lori DeAnne (Bill) Montgomery of Bartlett, TN; sons, Jerry DeWayne Salmon of Bartlett, TN and Brian Paul Salmon of Brighton, TN; sister, Helen Salmon of Cave City, AR; brothers, Buford (Jean) Salmon of Birmingham, AL and David (Carol) Salmon of Brighton, TN; sister-in-law, Estelle Salmon of Ozark, MO; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward C. Salmon and Bessie M. Salmon and his brothers, Alvin Salmon, Raymond Salmon, and Venoy Salmon. The family will receive friends Wednesday (Jan 10) from 5pm until 7pm at the Millington Chapel with a service Thursday at 11:00am at Bolton Full Gospel Church.
