Ms. Dorothy Moore Breakstone

Ms. Dorothy Moore Breakstone, 69, of Collierville, TN, formerly of Savannah, GA, died March 30, 2017. Ms. Breakstone was a retired Pension Administrator. The family will receive friends from 1-2:30 p.m. Monday, April 3 at Munford Funeral Home, Millington Chapel with Graveside service to follow at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery. She leaves two daughters, Dana Breakstone Goode, Sherri Breakstone Hill; sister, Holly Hitt, brothers, Robert Moore and Doil Moore; four grandchildren, Taylor Ann Goode, Shelby Goode, Dalton Goode, and David Goode.

George Travis Medford, Jr.

George Travis Medford, Jr. 62 of Millington, TN passed away March 5. He was a retired welder and loved to play golf, enjoyed spending time with his grandson, Tyler and loved college sports.  Mr. Medford is survived by his son, Nicholas Medford of Olive Branch, MS and sister, Paige Medford of Memphis, TN.

Steve Allen Sigler

Steve Allen Sigler, 67, of Millington, TN, passed away March 25, 2017. He loved hunting, fishing, and cooking out at family gatherings. He was preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey and Virginia Sigler; and brothers, Anuel Sigler, Harvey Sigler and Morris Sigler. He is survived by his children, Gina Gatlin, Listey Ledbetter, and Aaron Sigler; sisters, Connie Kellum of Bartlett, TN, Betty Mitchell of Millington, TN, Kitty Miles of Cordova, TN and Sheila Hadley of Millington, TN; brothers, Ray Sigler of Rosemark, TN and Freddie Sigler of Tipton; eight grandchildren.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  Services are pending.

Ruth Catherine Marhevka

Ruth Catherine Marhevka, 92, of Millington, TN passed away March 27, 2017. Mrs. Marhevka was an active member of St. William Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth and William Spohrer. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Albert Marhevka; daughters, Rose Moore (John), Betty Herod (Jeff), Ginny Winfield (John); sons, Joseph J. Marhevka (Janet), John Marhevka (Gina), Gary Marvehka (Ali); grandchildren, David Moore, Joey Moore, Gary Marhevka Jr., Amy Roesch, Jeff Winfield, Jennifer Winfield, Gina Marie Marhevka, and John Paul Marhevka; one great-grandson, Evan Roesch. The family will receive friends at a catered reception Wednesday (Mar 29) from 5pm-8pm at the Millington Chapel with a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 10am at St. William Catholic Church. Interment to follow in Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery. The family asks any memorials be made to St. William Catholic Church, 4932 Easley, Millington, TN 38053.

Emma Jean Ebbs

Emma Jean Ebbs, 82, died March 24, 2017 at Methodist University Hospital. Mrs Ebbs was a retired bookkeeper for Massey Ferguson. There will be a gathering of friends Monday, March 27, from 6-8 p.m. at Millington Chapel. Interment will be in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Ebbs. She leaves three daughters, Ricki Ebbs, Suzanne Drewery, and Kathleen Flick; two sons, Richard Ebbs and Wesley Ebbs; her brother, Larry Boyd and three grandchildren, Emily Ebbs, Austin Drewery, and Kaitland Simpson. Memorials in her honor may be made to ASPCA or the Memphis Zoo.
