Randy H. Crook, 60, a machinist, passed away August 30, 2016. He loved to play golf, go fishing with his son, and write letters to his daughter. He was preceded in death by his father, Ivan H. Crook and brother, Eric Crook. Mr. Crook is survived by his wife, Donna Crook; daughter, Cayla Crook; son, Cody Crook; mother, Martha Jo Dingman; step-father, Tony Dingman; uncle, Tony Crook. The family will receive friends at a catered reception Thursday (Sept 1) from 11:00am until the service at noon at the Millington Chapel. Interment to follow in Big Creek Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Childrens’ Research Hospital.

Verna L. Greggs

Verna L. Greggs, 86, of Memphis, TN passed away August 21, 2016. The family will receive friends Wednesday (Aug 24) from 11am until the service at 1:00 pm at Frayser Baptist Church. Interment to follow in Walton Cemetery in Covington, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ruie Greggs; sister, Lois White; brothers, Horace Montgomery, Mervil Montgomery, and O.T. Montgomery; and a grandson, Dillon Greggs. She is survived by her daughters, Lynda Greggs of Oakland, TN and Betty Cowan of Rosemark, TN; sons, Terry Greggs of Shelby Forest and Don Greggs of Drummonds; sister, Laurene Ferrell of Memphis, TN; brother, Troy Montgomery of Millington, TN; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

Linda Rodgers Wray

Linda Rodgers Wray, 70, of Memphis TN passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday August 20, 2016. Linda was born in Sikeston, MO on April 30, 1946, a long time resident of  Memphis TN. She is preceded in death by her father Lester Lee Rodgers.  Survivors include her mother June McConnell Rodgers,  a son, Andrew (Andy) Madison Wray IV, (Dawn), a daughter, Lee Anne Wray Kasper (Ken), grandchildren Allison, Eric, Sydney and Lauren, a brother Charles Lee Rodgers (Ellen), a niece Shelley Rodgers, a nephew Chadwick Rodgers, a grand nephew Max Volkman, along with a host of family and friends whom she loved dearly. Linda graduated from Immaculate Conception High School ’64, attended the University of Mississippi. She was a member of MaDonna Circle and a Sustaining member of Subsidium. Linda was a freelance interior designer who decorated homes and offices of family and friends with her heart and soul.  A Memorial Service will be held at St. Anne Catholic Church, 706 S. Highland, in Memphis TN on Wednesday August 24, 2016 @10:30 am, with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Entombment will be at 1:00 pm in Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the staff and volunteers at West Clinic and Methodist Hospice who made this journey peaceful. BILLIE LYNN HARVEY

Billie Lynn Harvey, 95, of Barretville, TN died on August 18, 2016. She was born in Memphis, TN on September 11, 1920 to Lewis E. Lynn and Mattie Smith Lynn. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Phillip Childers, and her second husband, Rev. Charles D. Harvey, her sister, Virginia Lynn Garrison and her brother, Lewis B. Lynn. As a young woman, Billie was an executive secretary at E.H. Crump & Company. She was a lifelong Presbyterian, having been a member of Highland Heights, Buntyn, and Christ Presbyterian Churches. She was presently a member of Rosemark Presbyterian Church. Billie served as a Ruling Elder, President of the Presbytery’s Women of the Church and various church positions. She leaves her local nephews, Sam E. Lynn (Janice), Lynn L. Garrison (Clinton), and Tom E. Harvey II (Suzanne), and numerous other nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Rosemark Presbyterian Church or the charity of your choice. Inurnment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery on Elvis Presley Blvd.
