Bob Gruenhagen

Bob Gruenhagen, 66, of Millington, TN passed away May 17, 2016. Mr. Gruenhagen was retired from the US Navy, a Vietnam veteran, member of VFW Post 7175, the Fleet Reserve, and First United Methodist Church in Millington.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Randolph and Mildred Gruenhagen and his wife, Dot Gruenhagen. He is survived by his step-son, Michael Skaggs; sisters, Kay Austin and Randi Logan; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday (May 31) from 9:00am until the service at 10:00am at the Millington Chapel. Private interment to follow in Greene County Memorial Gardens in Paragould, AR.

Mrs. Joyce Ann Bartlett

Mrs. Joyce Ann Bartlett, age 77, went on to be with the Lord Saturday, May 14, 2016, at her residence. Mrs. Bartlett was a Homemaker and a Bookkeeper for Barretville Bank and Trust. She was a longtime member of Quito United Methodist Church, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a friend to many. Mrs. Bartlett was preceded by her parents: Grand and Mary Ellen Parimore, and one sister: Bernice Buress (Billy). She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Bobby Bartlett, two daughters, Patricia Bartlett Prather (Hugh), and Pam Bartlett Wingard (Steven); one sister, Shirley Ferguson (Chuck), one brother, David Parimore and two grandchildren, Logan Prather and Kaitlin Wingard. The family will receive friends at a catered reception Monday, May 16, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. and services Tuesday at 11 a.m. all at the Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made in her honor to Quito United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society for Ovarian Cancer Research.

Dood “Margaret” Mangrum, 82, of Millington, TN passed away May 10, 2016. Mrs. Mangrum was a graduate of Millington High School. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Robert T. “Bob” Mangrum; son, Tom Mangrum; two grandchildren, Thomas Adam Mangrum and Lauren Mangrum Schultz; four great-grandchildren, Maribel Grace Mangrum, Thomas Abel Mangrum, Porter Hutchcraft Schultz, Preston Andrew Schultz.  The family will receive friends Thursday (May 12) from 5-8pm and Friday from 11am until 1pm at the Millington Chapel. Interment to follow Friday at 1:15pm in Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.

Dolores G. Walker

Dolores G. Walker, 80, of Millington, TN, passed away May 3, 2016. Mrs. Walker was a life member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 7175. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie C. Walker; sister, Dorothy Betros; brothers, Edward Gumminger, Robert Gumminger, Thomas Gumminger, Jerry Gumminger, and Ralph Gumminger. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Walker Hill of Claremont, NC; sons, Jay D. Walker of Conover, NC, Jack C. Walker of Millington, TN, and Joseph B. Walker of Millington, TN; three grandchildren, Eddie Adams, Joshua A. Walker, and Amanda W. Frances; two great-grandchildren, Olivia Adams and Phoenix Walker. Phillip Wayne “Phil” Brough

Phillip Wayne “Phil” Brough, 69, of Frenchmans Bayou, AR formerly of Ripley, TN, passed away May 3, 2016. Mr. Brough was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who enjoyed woodworking, hunting and fishing. He served his country in the Army and the Air Force. He was preceded in death by a wife, Sheila Brough, son, Phillip Wayne Brough, Jr., and a brother, Steve Braden. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Brough; daughter, Kimberly (Johnny) Lane of Ocala, FL; sisters, Gale McDaniel and Teresa Bush; brothers, Ricky Braden and Ken Benson; three grandchildren, Joshua Lane, Hope Lane Barrera, and Adam Lane; four great-grandchildren, Jaxxon Barrera, Rylan Barrera, Paisley Barrera, Kinsley Barrera. A memorial service will be held Saturday (May 7) at 11:00am at Spirit Filled Baptist Church, 5432 Asbury Glimp Rd, Ripley, TN 38063.
