Donald Wayne Pruett

Donald Wayne Pruett, 84, of Arlington, TN passed away March 29, 2015. He was an Army veteran who served in the Korean War and was a Purple Heart recipient. The widower of Virginia Ann Pruett, he is survived by his daughters, Mary Ann Elkouz of Millington, TN, Virginia Frances Burns of Arlington, TN, Christine Pruett of La Garde, France; son, Alain Hemmer of Les Metz, France; brothers, Gene Pruett of Atoka, TN and Forrest Pruett of Tunica, MS; 19 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at a catered reception Thursday, April 2 from 5-8 p.m. at the Millington Chapel with a service 2 p.m. Saturday, April 4 at the Millington Chapel. Private interment in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. The family asks memorials be made to the Church Health Center.

James Julius Long, Sr. "PaPaw"

JAMES JULIUS LONG, SR. “PaPaw” went to be with the Lord, on March 28, 2015 at the age of 92. Julius was born to Clarence and Gulnaire Long on April 21, 1922. He graduated from Bolton High School in 1941, of which, he was class president. Julius retired from Firestone after 38 years and was a Navy veteran of WWII. Julius and Nell were happily married for 63 years until Nell’s death in 2010. He was the proud father to his three wonderful sons Julius Long, Wayne Long (Barbara), and Sidney Long (Cherie). He was also the proud grandfather to seven grandchildren, David Long, Gina Seay (Jeff), Kristie Julian (Alex), Tracy Long, Brandy Long (Stephen), Chad Long (Lauren), Mindy Raburn (Ben); great-grandfather to six great-grandchildren, Brett, Chase, Briley, Hagen, Colton, Chloe. Julius enjoyed spending time with his beloved family, coon hunting, fishing gardening, country music, UofM Tigers basketball and Captain D’s. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends. The family will receive friends at a catered reception Tuesday, March 31 from 12 until service at 2 p.m at the Millington Chapel. Interment  in New Salem Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to New Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Church, in care of Cathy Rutledge, 7971 Brunswick Rd., Millington, TN 38053.

Elizabeth Anne (Nanna) Rudolph,86, of Millington, TN passed away March 27, 2015. The
family will receive friends at a catered reception Monday (Apr 6) from 7 pm-9 pm at the
Millington Chapel. She is survived by her daughter, Kolleen K. Williams of
Millington, TN; granddaughter, Lisa Henderson of Millington, TN; five
great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.

Robert S. "Bob" Booker

ROBERT S. “Bob” BOOKER, of Millington, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on March 28, 2015 at the age of 86. Bob is survived by his wife of 62 years Scharlotte Booker, married on April 12, 1952. He is also survived by his son, David Michael (Kimberly), daughter, Donna Michele Gilbreath (Rocky); grandchildren, Kasey Ainsely (Matt), Florida, J.R. Booker (Heather), Missouri; BobbiJo Brasfield (Carl Jr.), Tennessee; Tara Todd (Alex), Tennessee; Grant Gilbreath (Diana), Texas; great-grandkids, Andrew Brasfield, Emma Brasfield, Carter Todd, Milo Booker, Cole Todd, Lennon Booker, Windsor Ainsley, Gael Gilbreath; his brothers, Spencer Booker (Delena) and 11 nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his parents Lee Corbitt Booker and Minnie Beatrice Huan Booker; his brothers, Paul Booker (Ruth) and M.T. Booker; and a sister Juanita Tenpenny. Bob was a retired CW04 with the U.S. Navy after 30 years of service. He was also a retired school teacher after 15 years at Bartlett High School. He was a member of First Baptist Church Millington where he served as a deacon and Sunday School teacher. He also loved being a golfer. The family will receive friends at a catered reception Monday evening March 30 from 5-7 p.m. at the Millington Chapel. Services will be Tuesday, March 31 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church Millington. Interment will follow at the Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to First Baptist Church Millington Building Fund.

James Melvin Chapman

James Melvin Chapman, 77, passed away March 23, 2015. He is survived by his
daughter, Christi Mooney; sister, Wanda Chapman Cursey of Jonesboro, AR; brother,
Glenn Chapman of Rosemark, TN; one grandchild. He was preceded in death by
his wife, Helen Chapman; parents, Thurman and Verta Chapman; sisters, Juanita Chapman Matson and Gladys Chapman Harber; and brother, David Chapman. The family will receive friends at a catered reception Wednesday (Mar 25) from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm with a service Thursday at 2:00 pm at the Millington Chapel. Interment in Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.
