Billy Ray Johnson

Billy Ray Johnson, 75, of Millington, retired machinist for Civil Service, died February 26, 2015 at Spring Gate Health & Rehab. The family will receive friends from 11 am until service time at 12 pm, Monday, March 2 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Interment in Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery. Mr. Johnson was a retired Navy Veteran of Vietnam, communicant of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, a state commander for DAV and 17 year volunteer for VA Hospital. Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and one brother. He leaves his wife of 20 years, Carolyn Johnson; two daughters, Kathy Carpenter and Tina Brigham (Jerry); six sons, Michael Johnson (Jeannie), Raymond Johnson (Elizabeth), John McGarvey, Ken McGarvey (Betty), Kevin McGarvey  (Juanito) and Kelly McGarvey (Chris); Nineteen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren. Aubrey Wayne Burrow

Aubrey Wayne Burrow, 78, of Memphis, TN who was raised in Galloway, TN passed
away February 23, 2015. Mr. Burrow was a retired Sherriff’s Deputy; served in the
US Army; and was a member of the FOP and a Mason. He is the widower of Lillian Burrow;
devoted father of Vance Burrow of Memphis, TN; and grandfather of Cody Jay Burrow.
The family will receive friends at a catered reception Saturday (Feb 28) from 1:30 pm
until the service at 2:30 pm at the Millington Chapel. Interment to follow in Burrow
Cemetery in Galloway, TN.

Patricia C. LaRochelle

Patricia C. LaRochelle, 67, of Millington, TN passed away February 24, 2015. The
widow of Tom A. LaRochelle, she is survived by her daughters, Danielle LaRochelle
of Millington, TN and Monique (Stephen) Ito of Waynesboro, PA; brother,
Jess (Bernie) Shackleford of South Jordan, UT; grandchildren, Alexander LaRochelle-Meeks,
Hannah Ito, Stephen Ito. The family will receive friends at a catered reception

Bobby E. Hill

Bobby E. Hill, 81, of Millington went to be the Lord February 19, 2015. Bob retired from South Central Bell Telephone Co. after 40 years. He served four years active duty in the Navy during the Korean War and retired from the Seabee Reserve after 20 years. Mr. Hill was a member of First Baptist Church in Millington. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Egbert Hill of Houston, AR. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Doris J. Hill; two sons, Alan (Sherry), Ron (Laura); four grandchildren, Alan, Jr., Carlie, Cassidy and Madison and one step-granddaughter, Julianna (Alan). He was always very active in everything involving his sons and grandchildren. He and his sons enjoyed riding horses and raised Appaloosas. He and his wife enjoyed traveling and were members of the Telephone Co. "Big River Bells" Camping Club and especially enjoyed going on cruises. The family will receive friends at a catered reception Sunday, February 22 from 12 p.m. until the service at 2 p.m. at the Millington Chapel. Interment to follow in Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Millington First Baptist Church Building Fund or the charity of choice.

William Edward Weaver, Sr.

William Edward Weaver Sr., 75, of Millington, TN passed away February 16, 2015. He
was a retired US Navy submariner having served on the USS Haddo, USS
Alexander Hamilton, and the USS Dolphin. He was a member of the Mustangs of Memphis
Car Club. He is survived by his wife, Sue Frazier Weaver;  son, William E. Weaver,Jr.
(and wife, Amber G.) of Germantown, TN; sister, Eloise Ledyard of Uriah,Al;
grandchildren, William E. “Trey” Weaver, III and Carol Anne Weaver.  The family will
receive friends at a catered reception Monday (Feb 23) from 11 am until the service at
12 pm at the Millington Chapel. Interment to follow in West Tennessee Veterans
Cemetery.
