Dan D. Quine

Dan D. Quine, 85, of Millington, passed away September 24, 2014. He was a retired financial analyst for the State of Nebraska Department of Insurance, longtime member of the Presbyterian Church of the Cross in Omaha, NE, an Army veteran who served in the Korean war, a 60 year member of the American Legion, a Mason and a member of the Kiwanis, and attended First United Methodist Church in Millington. He was the widower of MaryBelle Quine. He is survived by his children, Jane Axtell and Jeff Quine both of Omaha, NE; four grandchildren; and his significant other, Marion L. Nadrchal. The family will receive friends at a catered reception Sunday from 2:30pm until 5:00pm at the Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church in Millington.

Ruby Hellon Turner

Ruby Hellon Turner, 86, of Covington, TN passed away September 21, 2014 in Memphis,
TN. The family will receive friends at a catered reception Wednesday (Sep 24) from
12:30 pm until the service at 2:00 pm at the Millington Chapel. Interment to follow at
Memphis Memory Gardens. She was preceded in death by her children, Roseland Marie
Jones, Russell Turner, Benny Charles Turner, Carl Edward Turner, and Jimmy Turner.
She is survived by her children, Jeannie Carolyn Eskridge of Brighton, TN, Shirlene
Turner Huffman of Cincinnati, OH, and Richard Mack Turner of Brighton, TN; sisters, Hazel
Whitt of Houston, MS and Joyce Hudson of Tupelo, MS; nine grandchildren; eight
great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Lorrie Beth Caldwell Leach

LORRIE BETH CALDWELL LEACH, 35, of Shelby Forest, passed away September 18, 2014
after a valiant battle with cancer. She was born to Tommy Caldwell and the late
Nancy Duggan Caldwell on May 24, 1979. Family and friends were Lorrie’s passion and
first loves. Her love of fishing and the outdoors began as a young girl and
continued to be a great joy that she shared with her son, AJ. Whether cheering on her beloved Grizzlies or singing her favorite song, Lorrie’s inner beauty and contagious smile were a beacon to everyone she met. Lorrie is survived by her precious son, AJ and his father, Al Leach; her father, Tommy Caldwell (Tammie); sister, Sam Caldwell Sheppard (Len); brother, Russell Caldwell (Jenna); grandmother, Vada Caldwell; and a number of other relatives and close friends including her colleagues at the City of Millington that became her second family. Lorrie’s faithfulness and endurance were an inspiration to so many. Throughout her journey, she held steadfast to her faith. Her belief and prayer was if her story could lead one unbeliever to Christ, then her battle was not in vain. The family will receive friends at a catered reception, Sunday, September 21 from 5-8 p.m., and funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, September 22, all at Munford Funeral Home, Millington Chapel. Interment in Embury United Methodist Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of donor’s choice.

Paulette Williams Dunbar

Paulette Williams Dunbar, 65, of Rosemark, TN passed away September 17, 2014. She was
a longtime beautician in the Barretville community and Food Service Supervisor for the
State of Tennessee. She loved cooking, gardening, and a host of family and friends to
attest to her loving spirit and kindheartedness. She is survived by her husband, Jeff
Dunbar; daughters, Tracy Erskine of Munford, TN and Kristi Dunbar of Arlington, TN;
sisters, Sandra Morrison of Covington, TN, Sherryn Reese of Atoka, TN, and Claryce
Laird of Germantown, TN; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The family
will receive friends at a catered reception Thursday (Sep 18) from 5-8 pm with a
service Friday at 10:00 am at the Millington Chapel. Interment to follow at Rosemark
Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

James Riley

James Riley, 79, of Memphis, passed away September 8, 2014. Mr. Riley was a
Navy veteran of the Korean War and retired from the VA Hospital and Wonder Snacks.The
widow of Marjorie A. Riley, he is survived by his children, Mary A. Riley and
James A. Riley; and a sister, Marie Delk-McKnight. The family will receive friends at
a catered reception Friday, September 12 from 10:30 am until 12:30 pm at the Millington Chapel.
Interment will be at 1:00 pm at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.
