Joy Anita Webb

Joy Anita Webb,74, of Lucy, passed away September 30, 2013. The family will receive
friends Tuesday (Oct 1) from 5-8 pm with a service Wednesday at 10:00 am at
the Millington Chapel. Interment to follow at Big Creek Cemetery. She was a member of
Raleigh Primitive Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Roy A.
Webb; daughters, Jackie Vaughn of Woodstock, GA and Lisa W. Carr of Cordova, TN; son,
Stewart Webb of Memphis, TN; sister, Sylvia Dunkerson of Paris, TN; brother, Donald
Deckleman of Dickson, TN; nine grandchildren. The family asks any memorials be made
to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Dorothy Mae "Dottie" Davis

DOROTHY MAE “Dottie” DAVIS, died September 27, 2013 at the age of 94. Dorothy was a resident of Millington for over 50 years. Born 1918, in Indianapolis, Indiana, she met the love of her life, Gunnery Sergeant Harry H. Hobson, and they married in 1954. She and Harry traveled the world during his service to our country and settled in Millington with his retirement. She worked as a beauty consultant for Vanda Cosmetics for over 40 years. Dottie was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Order of The Eastern Star both in Millington. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry H. Hobson, parents, Chester and Carmen Hulse, and her brother, Bill Hulse. Dottie leaves her step-daughter, Theresa Ann Rogell of Fort Pierce, Florida; god-daughter, Dawn Skowronski of Annapolis, Maryland; god-daughter Deborah Case Wallace (Randy) and great-goddaughter, Deliss Rivera of Independence, Missouri; her devoted friends, County Commissioner Terry Roland (Christi); Betty Goddard, Denise (John) McNeil and Linda Wallace, all of Millington. Millington has lost a matriarch. The family will receive friends Monday, September 30 from 12 p.m. until service at 2 p.m. , at Millington Chapel. Interment will be in Forest Hill East Cemetery.

Shirley Ann Gillespie

Shirley Ann Gillespie, 80, of Millington, retired clerical worker for Civil Services, died September 27, 2013 at Methodist University Hospital.  The family will receive friends from 4 - 6 p.m., Sunday, September 29, and service at 10 a.m., Monday, September 30, both at the Millington Chapel.  Interment in Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery. Mrs. Gillespie was a member of Millington United Methodist Church and member of ASPCA. She leaves her husband, Randy Gillespie; three sons, Mark (Kim) Gillespie, Barry (Julie) Gillespie, and Jeff (Karen) Gillespie; seven grandchildren, Eric, Hayley, Hannah, Adam, Emily, Jason and Erin, and two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Ashlyn. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society.

William Ralph Aycock, Sr.

William Ralph Aycock  Sr, 80, of Drummonds, a master plumber and member of the
Barnstormers R/C Club, passed away September 17, 2013.  He was born October 7, 1932.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia M. Williams and son, William Aycock
Jr.. He is survived by his grandchildren, Christine Aycock of McCool, MS, William
Aycock III of Millington, TN, and Joseph Aycock of Memphis, TN; two
great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, September 21
at Rosemark Pentecostal Church, 8601 Austin Peay, Millington, TN 38053.

James Casey Pike

James Casey Pike, 36, of Memphis, passed away September 12, 2013.  He was born August
10,1977.  He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Wesley and Evelyn Pike, J.B.
and Othel Martin.  He is survived by his son, James Dylan Pike, father, James Leroy
Pike (Mary), mother, Jomi Caroline Murphy (Ron), brothers, Josh Pike (Shelley), Chad
Pike, aunt, Carol Krebs (Allen), uncle, John Pike (Connie), step-brothers, Marty
Fahr (Kristy),and Michael Fahr, and step-grandmother, Helen Lowery. He will be
greatly missed by his extended family of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.  He
was a graduate of Bolton High School and was a self-employed auto mechanic. Casey was
a wonderful, dedicated and loving father to his son, Dylan. He was an avid hunter,
fisherman and car enthusiast.  Casey was also a huge Tiger fan and known for his
sense of humor and practical jokes. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm –
6:00 pm with a memorial service at 6:00 pm Thursday, September 19 at the Millington
