Annie Claire Stewart McCain

Annie Claire Stewart McCain was born on June 13, 1933 and passed on to her heavenly home on June 26, 2013.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Marshall and Robert Byron Stewart, and her sister Sarah Elizabeth Long. “Miss Claire” or “Granny” as she was known to everyone who knew her was retired from Bank Tennessee in Memphis.  She worked in the banking business her entire life.  She was a warm caring person, a wonderful, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.   She leaves behind her daughter Phyllis Friend (Dennis), her son Bob McCain (Lisa), and her grandchildren Trey Friend (Brittany), Will Friend, AJ Friend, Devon McCain and Kelsey McCain.  She also leaves her pride and joy great-grandson Ryan Friend who was the light of her life. In addition to her “real” grandchildren she leaves many, many adopted grandchildren that have visited her home and were friends with “the boys” and “the girls”.    “Miss” Claire lived in the Bolton/Rosemark area her entire life and was an active member of her church, Richland ARP Church in Rosemark, TN.  Everyone she met was touched by her compassion, kindness and faith. She served her church in many ways over the years from Sunday school teacher to Vacation Bible school helper to Treasurer of the Memorial Fund.  Over these last two years her faith and strength never wavered as she fought her illness.  She was always positive and upbeat even while fighting for her life.  She passed peacefully with her family by her side. The family will receive visitors on Friday June 28, 2013 from 5 - 8 PM at Millington Chapel, Munford Funeral Home, 7450 Raleigh-Millington Road, Millington, Tn.  The funeral service will be held at Richland ARP Church, 8650 Rosemark Rd.  Millington, TN on Saturday June 29, 2013 at 10 AM.   In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Richland ARP Church Memorial Fund, Millington MASH Animal rescue, c/o Sheri Morgan, 7825 Tumbling Creek, Millington, TN 38053 or a charity of their choice.

Thomas Malcolm Comer

Thomas Malcolm Comer, 79, of Millington, retired maintenance supervisor for Schering-Plough, died June 22, 2013 at Methodist Hospice Residence.  The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, and service at 12 p.m. Thursday, June 27, both at Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel.  Interment in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.  Mr. Comer was a retired USN Seabee, Vietnam veteran, and member of Raleigh Primitive Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by his parents, J.T. and Martha Comer, first wife, Glenda Comer, sister, Iona Etheridge, brother, James Comer.  He leaves his wife, Treva Martin Comer, five daughters, Darlene Compton (Skip), Deborah Sutton (Jim),  Jerri Stutts (Wayne), Sue Vinson (Bud) and Selene Zvolanek (Jerry); one son, Tommy Comer; two sisters, Betty Faye Pitman and Vivian Brooks; one brother, Melvin Comer; ten grandchildren, Richard, Cindy, Brian, Shelby, J.T., Tiffany, Shannon, Hunter, Clint, and Amanda; two great-grandchildren, Rebekah and Bella.  Memorials may be made to the Seabee Memorial, the American Cancer Society, or West Clinic Wings Foundation.

Carol Janis Feiock

Carol Janis Feiock, 70, of Covington, passed away June 23, 2013. The family will
receive friends Tuesday (June 25) from 10:30 am until the service at 11:00 am at the
Millington Chapel. Interment to follow at Prospect Cemetery in Sardis, TN. She was
preceded in death by her husband, Robert Feiock and a brother, Steve Petty. She was
survived by her daughters, Yvonne Platt of Covington, TN and Lorrie Lambert of
Lakeland, TN; brothers, Jim Petty, Mark Petty, and Russ Petty; four grandchildren and
one great-grandchild.

Patrick Fulton Aeschliman, 54, of Atoka, retired deputy jailer for Shelby County,
passed away June 23, 2013. Mr. Aeschliman is survived by his wife, Melissa Shelton
Aeschliman; son, Phillip Aeschliman (Rebecca Jones) of Bartlett, TN; mother, Betty
Hood of Oakland, TN; sisters, Sherree Adams of Oakland, TN, Denise Belcher (Steve
Schedler) of Bartlett, TN, and Mimi Dodson (Robert Dodson) of Whiteville, TN;
granddaughter, Hadley Jean Aeschliman. The family will receive friends at Munford
Funeral Home Millington Chapel on Saturday, June 29 from 10 am until the memorial
service at 11:00 am.
