John Michael "Mike" Giles

John Michael "Mike" Giles, a Florida native, a resident of Millington, TN,
and a former resident of Belle Chasse, LA, passed away on March 26, 2013
at the age of 50. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, April 1 and the
service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 2 all at Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel.
He leaves behind his wife of 31 years, Jane Campbell Giles, and his
children Jacob Giles(Darla), Joshua Giles (Donna) and David Giles
(Miranda). He was the proud grandfather of five grandsons; Jeremy, Ryan, Ethan, Eli,
and Connor.  He is survived by his parents, Ada and Steven Ruzicka, and
five siblings, Steven Giles (Wendy), Kathy Griffin (Ashley), Ronald Giles,
Jackie Homberger (Gary) and Stephanie Cannon (Scott).
He was preceded in death by one sister, Janice Giles Hebda.
He is also survived by a host of nephews, nieces, aunts and uncles.
Mike was the owner of JM's Remodeling and Painting for over 19 years and
the owner of Hilltop Express for the past 12 years.  He was passionate
about drag racing and made many friends participating in the sport he
loved so much.  He always put his employees before himself and was a fair
and honest businessman.  Mike will be solely missed by all who knew and
loved him.

Delores Ellen Watson Keen

Delores Ellen Watson Keen, 70, of Memphis, passed away March 27, 2013. The family
will receive friends Saturday (Mar 30) from 10:00 am until the service at 11:00 am
at the Millington Chapel.  Mrs. Keen was an avid reader and loved to travel. The
widow of Robert Junior Keen, she is survived by her sons, Timothy (Sherri) Keen of
Memphis and Todd (Denise) Keen of Atoka; sisters, Doris (Sonny) Hillhouse of Memphis
and Neva Lynn “Linda”Green of Nettleton, MS; brother, James Watson of Nettleton, MS;
one grandson and one great-grandson; and her fiancé’, Tolbert Buchanan.

George D. Harmon

George D. Harmon, 52, of Bartlett, formerly of Millington passed away March 27,
2013.  The family will receive friends Saturday (Mar 30) from 3:30 pm until the
service at 4:30 pm at the Millington Chapel.  Mr. Harmon was the owner of Total
Termite and Pest Control and enjoyed spending time with his family, boating, hot
rods, and cooking with the “A-Team” BBQ team.  He was preceded in death by his
parents, George and Irene Harmon. He is survived by his wife, Patti; daughters,
Samantha Harmon and Lindsey Harmon both of Bartlett and Amanda Brubaker of Brighton,
TN; sister, Darlene Harmon (Mitch) Haddock of Millington; two grandchildren, Sean
and Addison. The family asks any memorials be made to the American Diabetes
Association.

Wayne Edward Ayers, Sr.

Wayne Edward Ayers, Sr. 70, born in Dyersburg, TN, formerly of Memphis and currently resided in Atoka, passed away March 26, 2013. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 28 from 6 p.m. until the memorial service at 7 p.m. at the Millington Chapel.  Mr. Ayers was an Army veteran, a retired Memphis firefighter, member of the  IAFF Union #1784, Raleigh Masonic Lodge #770 and a devoted member of the "Saban Nation" (Roll Tide!).  He is survived by his wife, Virginia Armstrong Ayers;  daughter, Cynthia Lynn Brown of Atoka, TN; son, Wayne E. Ayers, Jr. of Atoka; sister, Brenda Lavonne Gable of Dyersburg, TN; brother, James Stanley Ayers of Dyersburg, TN; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Any memorials may be made to American Heart Association.

Raymond I. Farr

Raymond I. Farr, 62, of Memphis, died March 19, 2013.  The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service at 2 p.m., Monday, March 25 at Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel. Interment in Embury Cemetery.  Mr. Farr was a veteran of U.S. Marine Corps, played 1st base for Hernando DeSoto League for 8 years and was inducted into Hall of Fame in 2000. He was one of the Top 50 players in the league.  He attended Tech High School in Memphis.  Mr. Farr was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Catherine Farr.  He leaves a son, James T. Farr; one sister, Shirley F. Swift; one brother, Dexter Farr; three grandchildren, Zachery, Haley, and Emma Farr, a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Raymond Skinner Center.
