Mrs Mary Oliver Clay Wadlington, age 96, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2015 in Clarksdale, MS. Family will receive friends on Monday, August 03, 2015 at Marks Presbyterian Church from 10 :00 am until 11:00 am with the service beginning at 11:00am. Interment will be held at Marks Cemetery.

Mrs. Wadlington was a music teacher and homemaker. She was also the church organist for Sledge Methodist Church, a Sunday School teacher and a member of United Methodist Women. She is survived by her daughters Mary Jane (Scott) Thompson of Richmond, VA, Frances (John) Wallace Sr of Suwanee, GA; sons Warner (Melanie) Wadlington of Sledge, MS, Thomas Clay (Sarah) Wadlington of Southaven, MS; sister Alice Clay Smith of Novi, MI; brother Thomas Franklin (Lynda) Clay Jr. of Monticello, MS; nephew Kent(Lisa) Waldington of Germantown, TN; 12 grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bedford Warner Wadlington Jr. (Pete), parents Dr. Thomas Franklin & Delia Clay, and sisters Delia & Helen.

Ms Anita Hamilton Collins, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 in Batesville, MS. Family will receive friends at Lambert Methodist Church from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2015 with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will be held at Lambert Cemetery.

Ms. Collins was a retired school teacher from Quitman County School system and a member of Lambert Methodist Church. She is survived by her sons Benny (Joan) Hamilton of Sardis, MS, Sidney (Leagh) Hamilton of Hartselle, AL; sisters Evelyn Morton of Shreveport LA; brother Azariah Thomas Adams Jr. of Lambert, MS; five grandchildren, Harley Hamilton of Kansas City, KS, Aaron Hamilton of Oxford, MS, Jay Hamilton of Hartselle, AL, Cassandra Hamilton of Harstelle, AL, Joshua Hamilton of Hartselle, AL and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Ora Adams and sister Margaret Ruth.

Mr. John H. Hester, age 73, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 in Marks, MS.  Family will receive friends at a catered reception on Thursday, July 23, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Kimbro Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will be held on Friday, July 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at First United Pentecostal Church of Marks with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will be held at Crowder Cemetery.

Mr. Hester was a retired school bus mechanic from Magnolia Sales in Batesville, MS and a member of First United Pentecostal Church in Marks. He is survived by his daughter Renita (Marvin) Bolen of Olive Branch, MS; son Randy Hester of Marks, MS; brothers O.D. Hester of Myrtle, MS, Donald (Ruth) Hester of Barnet, TX, L.D. (Bonnie) Hester of Kentucky; three grandchildren, Jennifer Copeland of Southaven, MS, Amanda Pearson of Coldwater, MS, Christian Hester of Marks, MS and two great grandchildren, Anna Hale of Senatobia, MS amd Kaleb Mullins of Southaven, MS . He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther & Mollie Hester, daughter Phyllis Hester, son Jamie Hester and sisters Louise Province and Frances Switzer.

Ms. Melony Gay Selby Gentry, age 55, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 in Marks, MS. Ms. Gentry was a homemaker and a member of  Faith Baptist Church in Lambert, MS. She is survived by her daughter, Ceasley Channing Gentry of Marks, MS; father, Travis Selby of Marks, MS; sister Tammy Selby of Marks, MS; special great nephew, Peyton Selby of Marks, MS and cousin, Pam Selby Weaver of Marks, MS. She was preceded in death by  her mother, Anne Selby , two brothers, Danny Gene Selby and Kerry Allen Selby, niece, Leslie Jill Dulog and nephew, Michael Shane Shelby.

Mr. Bobby J. Wilson, age 68, was retired from Bunge Corp. Mr. Wilson passed away July 9, 2015 in Southaven, MS. The Family will receive friends at a catered reception Saturday, July 11, 2015 from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm followed by the funeral service at 2:00 pm at Kimbro Funeral Home. Interment will be at Cold Springs Cemetery.

Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife, Mary Lee Wilson of Sarah, MS; his daughters, Wanda (Lonnie) Stafford of Clarksdale, MS; Tracy Wimberly of Sarah, MS; and Phyllis (Vic) Mayo of Senatobia, MS; and his son, Bobby Clay (Monica) Wilson of New Albany, MS.  Also surviving Mr. Wilson are his sister, Louise Thompson of Oxford, MS and his brother, Thomas (Linda) Wilson of Plantersville, MS; Twelve Grandchildren and Thirteen Great Grandchildren.  Mr. Wilson is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Ruby Wilson; Five Sisters; Half-brother, Upton Wilson and grandson, Bobby Joe Wilson (BJ).

Mrs. Bernie Sue Long, age 83, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 in Marks, MS. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until service time at 3:00 pm at West Marks Baptist Church on Friday, July 10, 2015. Interment will be held at Marks Cemetery.

Mrs. Long was a retired bookkeeper for Lambert/Marks Express. She was an active member of West Marks Baptist Church and enjoyed teaching Sunday School class. She formerly served as the church Secretary and served on the Historical and Hostess committee.  Mrs. Long is survived by daughters; Paula Sue (Donald) Walters of Marks, MS, Barbara Gail Crawley and the late Willard Crawley of Horn Lake, MS, and Jean (Larry) Harris of Marks, Ms. Son; Robert Paul (Lea) Long Jr. of Marks, Ms. Sister; Betty Lou (Cloray) Collins of Sparta, Tn. Eight Grandchildren and Twelve Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Paul Long Sr.; Parents Roy and Grace Anderson; One Great-Grandson, Joshua Conner May.

Mr. Thomas R. (Sonny) Mills Jr., age 78, passed away Monday, June 22, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, Ms. Family will receive friends at a catered reception on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Kimbro Funeral Home Chapel. Services for Mr. Mills will be on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at 11:00 am in the Kimbro Chapel. Interment will be held at Marks Cemetery. Pall bearers will be: Terry Mills, Gary Mills, Dino Mills, Jason Mills, Davis Mills, Rusty Wright, Bernie Wright, and Hunter Phelps.

Mr. Mills was a self employed farmer, Veteran of US Army and a member of Darling Baptist Church. Mrs. Ina Grace Ikerd White, age 86, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away on Friday, June 12, 2015. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Kimbro Funeral Home Chapel.

Mrs. White, a native of Marks, MS, was a retired bookkeeper with Synergy Gas in W. Memphis AK.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Wayne White; her parents, J.W. and Missouria Ikerd; and her sister, Marie Murphy. She is survived by her daughter, Susan C. Rogers of Lawrenceville, GA; son, Steven S. White of Hernando, MS; sister, Thirza Dulin of Winona, MS; grandchildren, Amanda Hilliard and Adam Rogers of Atlanta and  great grandchildren, Tristan Rogers and Addison Rogers.

Ms. Nancy Marion Styring Hughes, age 72, passed away on Saturday, June 06, 2015 at her home in Marks, MS. Family will receive friends on Monday, June 08, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Marks Presbyterian Church with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Marks Cemetery.

Ms. Hughes was a graduate of Northside High School in Atlanta, GA , attended Emory University in Atlanta, GA and graduated from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN with her B.A. in English. She was president of Kappa Alpha Theta, served on the student council association; was vice president of the Panhellenic Council and a staff member of the Commodore newspaper. Upon graduation, Ms. Hughes taught at Delta Academy in Marks, MS and Quitman County School District where she was recognized for her outstanding service.  She also worked as a real estate appraiser and was a member of Marks Presbyterian Church and the Marks Garden Club.

Ms. Hughes is survived by her daughters Virginia "Ginny" (Chad) Moser of Clarksdale, MS, Nancy (Cameron) Arcemont of Madison, MS; brother James "Jim" (Michelle) Styring of Atlanta,GA; four grandchildren, Emily and Will Moser of Clarksdale, MS,  Hill and Elizabeth Arcemont of Madison, MS and  dear friend, Sydney Guest of Oxford, MS. She was preceded by her parents H. Earl and Louise Hill Styring.
